Waimea Valley is located on Oʻahu North Shore, across Waimea Bay Beach Park.
Driving Directions
From Waikīkī / Honolulu (1–1.5 hours)
Take H-1 West toward Pearl City.
Continue onto H-2 North toward Wahiawā.
Follow signs to Route 99 / Kamehameha Highway toward Haleʻiwa.
Turn right onto Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) heading east.
Waimea Valley will be on the right side, just past Waimea Bay.
From Ko Olina (1–1.25 hours)
Exit Ko Olina and take Farrington Highway (HI-93 North) toward Waiʻanae.
Continue on Farrington Highway as it follows the coast.
Farrington Highway will become Kamehameha Highway (Route 83).
Continue driving north past Haleʻiwa toward the North Shore.
Waimea Valley will be on the left side, just before Waimea Bay.
Tip: Travel time may increase on weekends, holidays, or during high surf season.
Public Transportation
From Waikīkī / Honolulu (2–2.5 hours)
#20, #23, #60 → transfer to #52 or #60 to Waimea Valley
From Ko Olina (3.5–4 hours)
#40 → transfer to #52 or #60 to Waimea Valley
TheBus Fare & HOLO Card Information
Single-Ride Fares:
Adults: $3.00
Youth (ages 6–17): $1.50
The HOLO Card is TheBus’s electronic fare card.
Can be purchased and reloaded at select retail locations.

Rideshare (Lyft & Uber)
Rideshare services are available. However, options may be limited in this area.
Tip: We recommend planning ahead and allowing extra travel time to ensure timely arrival.
Parking Information
Free On-Site Parking Available
Three on-site parking lots are available for Waimea Valley guests on a first-come, first-served basis, with clearly marked accessible stalls near the entrance.
Please note:
Parking is for Waimea Valley guests only. Beach parking is not permitted in the Valley lots.
If you are visiting Waimea Bay Beach, please park at the designated Waimea Bay Beach parking lot.
Tip: During peak seasons, holidays, or special events, parking may be limited. We recommend arriving early to secure a space.
