Waimea Valley offers a variety of amenities to help make your visit comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable for guests of all ages.
Restroom Locations
Restrooms are conveniently located throughout Waimea Valley. Facilities are available next to the Visitor Center snack shop (before the ticket booth) and again approximately ¾ mile past the ticket booth near the waterfall.
Accessible restrooms are available at both locations.

Dining Options
Waimea Valley offers casual dining options perfect for a quick break during your visit:
Hale Kope – Fresh baked goods, coffee, and drinks
Wahi ʻᾹina – Casual dining and refreshments
Kikoni Bar – Alcoholic beverages (must be finished before entering the Valley)
Wailele Snack Bar – Located near the waterfall, ideal for a quick lunch or refreshment after a hike

Picnic Areas
Open meadow areas provide scenic spaces to relax and enjoy a meal. Shaded white tents near the Visitor Center are also available for resting and gathering.
Outside food is welcome, and coolers are permitted. However, alcohol is not allowed in the Valley.
We kindly ask that you help mālama (care for) the Valley by cleaning up after your visit.
For your convenience, dining options are also available on-site.

Shuttle Services
Shuttle transportation is available from Hale Hōʻike to the waterfall. The first shuttle departs at 9:45 AM, and shuttle ticket sales end at 2:00 PM. One-way tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the ticket booth or paid in cash when boarding the shuttle.

Scooter Rentals
Electric scooters are available for rent. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Locker Rentals
Locker rentals are available near the waterfall for guests planning to swim:
Small $10 | Large $15 (no time limit)

Changing Rooms
Changing rooms are available for those planning to swim at the waterfall.
Two private stalls are provided at no cost and are conveniently located close to the waterfall.

Gift Shop
The Waimea Valley Gift Shop offers locally inspired souvenirs, apparel, and gifts. The gift shop is located near the entrance and is a great stop before or after your visit.

Water & Drinks Stations
Water refill stations are available throughout the Valley for guests to refill reusable bottles. Vending machines are also available for drinks. Guests are encouraged to bring reusable bottles to reduce waste.
