Waimea Valley’s Main Lawn is our most loved outdoor wedding VENUE.

This venue is available for ceremonies and cocktail hours. The large monkeypod tree can be used as the perfect altar, complete with a flagstone base and white benches for seating. The green lawn with a cobblestone patio along the rock wall fronts the Pikake Pavilion with ample shade. After dark, torches lit alongside the Pavilion cast a warm, tropical ambiance onto the Main Lawn and its surrounding gardens. Couple with the Pikake Pavilion reception venue to create a seamless experience, accessible for guests of all mobilities.

Main Lawn Details & Pricing

Ceremony amenities include:

Ceremony seating: 14 white wedding benches (drop off only)

Tiki torches

Restrooms

Complimentary guest parking

Electricity

Mokeypod tree up-lighting (evening only)

3-hour rental (including setting up and breakdown)

Venue Pricing:

$2000* plus sales tax and a $500 required security deposit (Monday - Sunday)

Main Lawn ceremony + Pikake Pavilion reception: $6,500* plus sales tax and a $500 required security deposit (Monday - Sunday)

*High peak season rates are effective May 1st - September 30th with a 20% addition to the venue site fee.

Set up for the ceremony seating is not offered through Waimea Valley. You can arrange event set up through your wedding coordinator or through a rental company vendor.

Note: To substitute white bench ceremony seating for banquet chairs is $200.

Rules for Main Lawn Venue:

• Please note that the rental of the Main Lawn venue does not automatically include the use of the Pikake Pavilion.

• No tents overnight on the lawn, please.

• Dancefloors only on flagstone, not on the grass, please.

• If you are having fire-dancers, they must have flame-retardant mats to perform on. Mats must then be removed immediately after the show, rolled, and carried off the grass (not dragged)
