As Crown Princess, she traveled abroad to plead for the rights of her people and worked tirelessly to preserve the Hawaiian Kingdom’s sovereignty and dignity after the overthrow of the monarchy. Despite her youth, Kaʻiulani displayed remarkable poise, intelligence, and compassion, inspiring both Hawaiians and the wider world. She remains a symbol of resilience and leadership for generations to come.
