  • Kamaʻāina Discount Days: March 26th Kūhio Day

    In celebration of important historical figures, several days throughout the year have been discounted or made free for local residents of Hawaii.

  • Earth Day: He Aliʻi Ka ʻĀina

    Save the date and volunteer with us on Saturday, April 20th. Enjoy the Sustainability Village at Upper Meadow with vendors, hula, and music!

  • Lei Day

    May 1st Wednesday celebrate the art of lei making at Waimea Valley. If you wear a lei upon entry, you will receive FREE admission.

  • Summer Concert Series

    The annual Summer Concert Series dates and line up are here! Join us for mele and hula in the Valley!

  • Keiki Wednesdays

    Every Wednesday, kamaʻāina keiki under 12 enter the valley for FREE.

  • Kamaʻāina Thursdays

    Every Thursday, from noon to 3 pm, Hawaii residents receive free admission to the Valley.

  • Lā ʻOhana Days

    The 3rd Sunday of every month, treat your family to a day at Waimea Valley with 50% off general admission for kama'āina and military families.

  • Volunteer Days

    Every week, there are opportunities to volunteer: from Mālama Mala and Hanai ʻāina Days to ʻOhana Volunteer Days and Special Events.

  • Saturday Plant Sales

    Every Saturday, from 8 am to 12 pm in the Nursery, shop a selection of curated plants.

  • Thursdays Hale'iwa Market

    Every Thursday from 2 pm to 6 pm

  • Moonwalks

    Once a month around the full moon, from August to October, enjoy the sounds and sights of Waimea Valley at night.

  • Make a Difference Day

    Mahalo to everyone who came to make a difference this year!

  • Makahiki Festival

    Celebrate the Hawaiian new year, and the god Lono in the Upper Meadow. Festivities include Te Moana Nui Games, live music, keiki games, local vendors, hula performances, and more. Saturday, November 2nd
